Hello denim

(Denim vest- H&M, Mocassins- Minnetonka, Navy Pleated Dress- Urban Outfitters, Floral Clutch- Fossil)

Breaking out the denim, with a summer twist. The usual high wasted shorts, was replaced with my latest favorite vest from H&M. I'm not typically a fan of the whole vest trend, but this piece felt different. I loved being able to dress it down with Minnetonka's or just throw it over a swimsuit as a cover-up. Overall a summer essential!

Hot. Red. & Blue

The perfect mix of country and rock n' roll. Went on a little tour round the apple farm in Vernon today, they had samples of every apple product you could imagine, from sauces to fudge to slushies. Next we checked out the petting zoo at the back, not sure how apples and animals relate, but I guess it's all country. In case your just tuning in now, my roommate is from Vernon, and I'm from Hawaii, so this summer we decided to do a location swap for a couple weeks. First she came to Hawaii and did more than the typical tourists, and now its my turn to experience Vernon, which is slightly less exciting but nonetheless I'm getting the full Okanagan experience.

xo

Soaking up every last ray of sun in my last day on the islands therefore I don't have any cute outfits to display, however I did capture some snap shots. Wish I could have taken some at the north shore but I forgot my camera! I will miss Hawaii, but as of tomorrow I'll be a small town girl for the summer.

Lolita

Nothing says summer like chiffon and coral, the perfect outfit for my last day in Hawaii before I leave for Seattle. An entire day of traveling tomorrow, but the Seattle shopping should make it well worth it. Any shops I should check out while I'm down there?

Driveby

Being back home for a week, I decided to take advantage of a house full of five girls and began digging through everyone's closets. My major find was these vintage Roberto Vianni boots in the back of my mum's closet, if only they weren't a size six and a half. I'm practically big foot with my size nine feet! As for the rest of the outfit, I paired my beach cover-up with a lace romper and my new Pandora leather bracelet for a practical chic look.

Back to Hawaii and Blogspot

After surviving a long cold year in Canada, it was great to slip into summer with this marilyn monroe inspired look. NARS red-orange lipstick ties the polka-dotted skirt and red sunglasses together and the bikini top gives the look a modern twist. All in all it set the tone for the day. Today, I took a trip down to Waikiki beach with one of my future roommates and browsed through the market place, pssst did I mention the 3 story forever21? That in itself is a reason to take a trip over to Hawaii. All the latest pastels, polkadots, and neon colors reminded me why I loved fashion in the first place. Which brings me to why I'm back here in the first place, everyone on lookbook and the store windows have rejuvenated my love for fashion. With school out of the way, my main focus is back to fashion, my blog, and lookbook. So be prepared for day to day updates. Enjoy!

Victoria

This is the cafeteria, I thought it was kinda cute. But more in an old school 80's kind of way.
My friend Tasia has been bugging me to bring her back "legit maple syrup from Canada" ever since I first moved here so about five years too late I finally brought it back.

Went on a weekend trip to check out the college I'm planning to go to in Victoria and did a bit of shopping while I was down there. As far as mall's went it wasn't all that great but they had some pretty cute boutiques along side the harbor. Everyone dresses amazing there, they provide day to day inspiration. Looking forward to uni next year!
